Add life to your years, not just years to your life.
I'm Dr. Renee Young, NMD — and I build evidence-led longevity plans for people who intend to stay sharp, strong and independent for decades.
Around our mid-thirties, the body's baseline quietly starts to shift. Most people meet that change with guesswork. There's a better way — measure what matters, act early, and build the plan around you, not the average.
delay
repeat
not orders
Healthspan first.
Longevity isn't about adding grim years onto the end. The goal is more good ones — staying strong, sharp and independent deep into life. For most people, function turns down hard after fifty. My work is to bend that curve.
Heart disease
Among the most modifiable risks of all — and the leverage is there decades before any diagnosis.
Metabolic syndrome
The quiet engine under most of the rest. Caught early, it's a fork in the road, not a sentence.
Cancer
Risk you can't erase, but can move — through screening, metabolic health and the basics.
Alzheimer's
The one people fear most. Protecting the brain starts twenty years before symptoms.
The tools serve the plan. Never the other way around.
Over twenty years in practice, I've built an unusually deep toolkit — from advanced diagnostics to genuinely cutting-edge therapy. But a tool only earns its place when the evidence supports it: measured honestly, and set aside when its job is done.
Functional & advanced labs
Conventional and functional testing, read together for the full picture — not a single number out of context.
VO₂ max & diagnostics
Advanced testing that turns "how am I doing?" into numbers we can actually act on.
Hormone optimization
Bioidentical HRT & pellet therapy, dialed in and monitored — not guessed at.
Pain management
Prolotherapy, laser and regenerative options for pain, recovery and mobility.
Weight & metabolic
Metabolic strategy built on real labs — sustainable, measured, and yours.
Peptide therapy
Targeted peptides for recovery, metabolism and repair.
IV & NAD+ therapy
Nutrient and NAD+ infusions, matched to real lab data.
Hyperbaric oxygen
HBOT for recovery and cellular repair, run safely.
Ozone & EBOO
Ozone and EBOO blood therapies for oxidative support.
Stem cells & exosomes
Regenerative signaling for repair and recovery.
Regenerative medicine
Advanced regenerative protocols, matched to the case.
Four things that are non-negotiable.
AI can be genuinely useful. But if you don't ask questions like a doctor, you don't get answers like one — and after twenty years in practice, I know which question comes next.
Evidence-driven & adaptable.
Data over dogma. I trained alongside Yale doctors and public-health leaders — I weigh the evidence, blend conventional and functional medicine, and update the protocol the moment it shifts.
Research vs. reality.
The literature is a moving target, not a textbook. I'll tell you honestly when the research hasn't caught up to what you're living — and we'll act on the best of what we know.
Investigative curiosity.
Complex symptoms get treated like a detective story — deep questions, a full workup, and a genuine dive into the research for the root cause, not the surface.
Relentless patient advocacy.
You're the whole case. I take the extra hour, coordinate with your specialists, and go further than the appointment strictly requires.
In my 50s, and I'm crushing it.
Postmenopausal, in my fifth decade, and in better shape than I was in my forties. Some of that is genetics — most of it isn't. It's the same unglamorous things I ask of my patients, done consistently for decades. You don't get old and then stop moving; you stop moving and then get old.
Longevity, treated like a serious plan.
I founded the Young Naturopathic Center for Wellness in Los Gatos, California in 2004, and I've led it ever since — designing rigorous, science-forward health plans for high-performing professionals, executives and elite athletes, including the San Jose Sharks.
My approach treats wellness as a considered plan, not a passive hope. It rests on an unusually science-forward foundation — I trained alongside Yale physicians, studied epidemiology under Dr. David Katz, and learned bioidentical hormones with Dr. Jonathan Wright.
You cannot rush the business of people. When someone sits with me, they're the most important thing in the world.
Medical Thought Leadership.Speaking · education · partnership
The future of healthcare won't be found in rigid templates or trendy wellness fads. It belongs to clinicians willing to follow the data and change course the moment the science does.
I skip the buzzwords for advanced diagnostics, hard evidence and honest curiosity — whether I'm speaking to a room of physicians, a high-performing audience, or a patient looking to outrun aging. The message holds: look at the data, reject the shortcuts, and build the plan around the person.
